1. Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum

This is a fun museum for the entire family. You can see a variety of animals that you might stumble upon while walking in the deserts near Tucson. It also has a history museum that gives information on the city and the kinds of animals that once inhabited the area.

2. Sabino Canyon

This is the place for all of the science people in Tucson. One of the world's largest aircraft displays is housed in this museum. It contains planes from World War II and supersonic planes.

6. Mission San Xavier del Bac

The adobe church was built in the 1700s. It has been recently restored, and features the beauty of the Spanish culture. There are frescoes of brilliant colors and sculptures with beautiful detail.

7. Carnival of Illusion

This is the only illusion show in Arizona where you can sit up close to the stage and get involved with the show. The lighting creates an intimate setting as you view acts that are magical and whimsical in nature.

8. The Mini Time Machine Museum

View a large display of miniature items including cars, horses and doll house furniture.

9. Tucson Mountain Park

Enjoy a day in the sun at this large park where you can walk on rocks and through the cacti that adorn the area. The park sits on about 20,000 acres, and there are several outdoor activities through the year.

10. La Paloma Golf Course

Play on over 27 holes at this golf course where celebrities have swung a club or two. It is ideal for beginners who have never hit a golf ball or those who are professionals.
